**** Uses of Andek Cocoon 560 in Tunnel Construction and maintenance
Aside from the many infrastructural uses of Cocoon such as sealing room membranes along barb wire walls and HV/AC applications. Cocoon is extensively used in tunnel construction and waterproofing.

For decades the Army Corp of Engineers has utilized and relied on Andek Cocoon 560 for tunnel and dam construction in sensitive locations. The best known reference point is the vast tunnel complex located within the U.S. Capitol complex. Both the Congressional facilities and the White house have a vast array of underground tunnels. Some well-known, some “not so much”. The complex under the U.S. Capitol building is larger in surface area then the entire above ground building.

Andek Cocoon 560 is a single compound application with a 15-min set time. It is applied over Andek Vinyl Bond B. The walls, ceiling and floors could all be sealed with this non-permeable non-flammable non-contributory PVC based spray able compound. Andek Cocoon 560 bridges gaps with no shrinkage and can be applied under whatever decorative panels selected or as a native surface. Cocoon can be tinted to any color desired.
